Under the banner of ACCR Entry Engineering, this year Filip Mareš and Radovan Bucha will face huge competition in the European Rally Championship series. This should happen at all 8 planned events, the well known Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo will be prepared by PMX Rally Management, as in the previous season.

The Czech crew is thus facing another challenge. After rare starts in previous seasons, it will be the first ever participation in the entire continental series for Filip Mareš, as well as for co-driver Radek Bucha. The first measurement of forces will take place soon - on the second weekend of March on the popular gravel stages around the Portuguese city of Fafe. At the end of the August, the „ERC circus“ will also traditionally visit the Moravian city Zlín during the famous Barum Czech Rally.

"I'm really excited to announce our plans to participate in the entire ERC in this season," says the 31-year-old Mareš. "We have been working hard on this since the middle of last season and I believe that our efforts will pay off and we will make Czech rallysport a good name in Europe. Even though the work on securing the necessary budget is not over yet, I want to thank all the partners who are going to do it with us. I am pleased to see that we are continuing with a most of them from previous seasons including Entry Enginnering and Laureta Auto and new supporters have joined us. For our starts in Europe this year, we also received representative support from the ACCR."

It is the name of the Liberec‘s company Entry Enginnering that appears dominantly not only in the livery of the competition car, but also in the name of the team under which we find Mareš and Bucha in the entry list of the upcoming Serras de Fafe Rally. "We have been supporting Filip and Radek for several seasons and I am very happy that together this year we will open a new chapter and start fighting in the European Championship. Filip is constantly improving his performance and at Entry Engineering we try our best to help him create conditions for ideal preparation for every single race. Despite the fact that Filip will be competing in some ERC competitions for the very first time and the competition will be really big this year, we would very much like to see our colors in the final ranking of the ERC in the TOP3," said Pavel Paickr, director of Entry Engineering, before the start of the season.

Unfortunately, due to numerous schedule conflicts, Mareš and Bucha will only appear in this season's MČR in rare cases. Their brightly colored Fabia, shod on PIRELLI competition tires, should not be missing at the start of the opening race in Valašské Meziříčí. "We regret that we cannot present ourselves at more rallies in the Czech Republic, but our participation in the ERC is a clear priority in this regard. We have a huge competition in Portugal and I have never raced or been in that area before. It will be very difficult against the more experienced crews. But we will do our absolute best for a good result. It won't be easy at all to get into the top ten, personally I would consider placing in the TOP5 a great success at the first start," Filip Mareš makes no secret of his ambitions.

The Serras de Fafe Rally will take place on March 10-12. And its schedule includes a total of 17 special stages with a total length of 180 km. Fans who do not go to Portugal to watch the racing can follow the all special stages live on the WRC+ platform.
